Complaints and GDPR

Any complaints must be referred to the Scheme Manager, using the email address: admin@apac-kent.co.uk.

The email should set out clearly the nature of the complaint, and any expectations to resolve the matter. The email must include the full name and address of the complainant; complainants may subsequently be asked to provide a form of ID to verify their identity.
The Scheme Manager will acknowledge the complaint within 7 days, and a determination given within 28 days. Should the complainant be dissatisfied with the outcome, the matter may be further referred to the Board of Members for a determination. Their decision will be given within a further 14 days.
Should the complaint involve a Board Member and the matter cannot be resolved, the Scheme Manager may refer to the National Association of Business Crime Partnerships for further assistance.

Where complaints are substantiated, outcomes available to the Board are: additional training; a letter of advice or warning; suspension or expulsion from the Scheme; report to the Data Commissioner or police in the event of a Data Protection breach or criminal act.

Complaints we do not investigate
We cannot take complaints about police response, CCTV response, or the actions/protocols of any partner agency; the complainant must raise this directly with the organisation itself.
